We bear witness that there is no true god worthy of being worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner or associate. And we bear witness that Muhammad is his true Messenger. May Allah, bestow his peace and blessings on the final and seal of his prophets, Mohammed, upon his good and pure family, and upon all of his noble companions.

The ICDM welcome you to The Islamic Community Center of Des Moines website. This site is going to be, inshalah, a major place of communication between the Center and the Community. It will also help us keep you informed about all the events and news that concerns the Muslim community in Des Moines.

Al-hamdulillah, it is a real pleasure to see the Muslim population growing all over the world and in our community, spreading the word of God and building the communities on the basis of faith and truth.

In addition to serving the needs of the Muslim community in Des Moines through all the activities that are being held in the Mosque, we, here at the Islamic Community Center of Des Moines, are committed to promoting Islamic values and Knowledge, as well as strengthening our community by educating and helping Muslims in a society where confusion and lack of spiritual values dominate.

This site is to serve the Muslims in the Des Moines area, however, it is also for the non-Muslims who are seeking information about Islam, and would like to get answers to all their questions right from Muslims themselves.

The Islamic Center of Des Moines is your center and can't be improved without your contributions, so we ask you to be generous and help in serving and strengthening the Islamic Community in this Area. The Islamic Center of Des Moines is recognized and registered under 501 (c) (3) as a non-profit organization; therefore all donations donated to The Zakat Foundation are tax exempt.
